The Hands and Hearts Behind the Mission

There is no Led by Motivation Outreach, Inc. without the people who give their time, their energy, and their hearts to help us serve others.

As the founder of this organization, I may be the person you see out in the community or the person answering the phone, but I am certainly not doing this work alone. Behind every resource bag, every event, every answered call, and every person we are able to help, there are volunteers who make this work possible.

Today, I simply want to say thank you.

Thank you to every volunteer who showed up and supported our Thrive Miami Health & Wellness Fair. Whether you helped set up, welcomed attendees, assisted vendors, passed out resources, cleaned up, answered questions, or stepped in wherever you were needed, you helped us create an event centered around health, resources, community, and love.

Thank you to the volunteers who sit with us and pack resource bags for individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship. Those bags may seem simple to someone looking from the outside, but we know differently. Toiletries, hygiene products, snacks, water, towels, and everyday necessities can mean so much when you don’t know where your next meal is coming from or where you will sleep that night.

In 2026 alone, more than 1,000 resource bags have already been packed and distributed throughout our community.

And we aren’t finished.

Although we are more than halfway through the year, our goal is to distribute at least another 1,000 bags before the end of 2026.

That means another 1,000 opportunities to remind someone that they have not been forgotten.

Thank you to the volunteers who help me manage our 211 outreach phone. Some of the calls and messages we receive are difficult. People contact us when they are scared, overwhelmed, facing homelessness, sleeping in vehicles, struggling to feed their families, or simply don’t know where else to turn. Having volunteers willing to help research resources, respond to people, make calls, and connect individuals with available services allows us to reach more people than I could ever reach alone.

And a very special thank you goes to the volunteers who go into the field with me.

You see this work firsthand.

You help distribute supplies. You talk to people. You listen to their stories. You help us respond to needs in real time. You stand beside me when the answer isn’t easy and when sometimes the only thing we can immediately offer someone is compassion, a resource, and the reassurance that someone is willing to try.

Every one of you matters.

Whether you have volunteered once or you continue to show up again and again, please know that your contribution is appreciated. There is no “small” volunteer role at Led by Motivation Outreach, Inc. Every bag packed, every phone answered, every resource researched, every event supported, and every hour spent in the community helps us continue our mission.

We Are Growing, and So Is the Mission

As our outreach continues to grow, Led by Motivation Outreach, Inc. is also entering an exciting new chapter.

We have recently been offered office space in Miramar, Florida, giving us an opportunity to establish a stronger home base in the community we serve. For an organization that has spent so much of its time meeting people wherever they are, having dedicated space represents another step forward in our ability to organize resources, coordinate volunteers, build partnerships, and expand our reach.

We are also looking for individuals who believe in our mission and are interested in serving as members of the Board of Directors for Led by Motivation Outreach, Inc.

We are looking for people who don’t simply want a title. We want people who believe in service, understand the importance of community, and are willing to contribute their knowledge, connections, ideas, time, and heart to helping this organization grow responsibly.

There is still so much work to do.

There are still people sleeping outside tonight. There are families trying to figure out how they are going to make it through another month. There are people who need food, hygiene products, employment resources, housing assistance, transportation, health care connections, and sometimes simply someone willing to listen.

We cannot solve every problem.

But we can keep showing up.

And because of our volunteers, supporters, donors, partners, and community, we don’t have to show up alone.

To every person who has given Led by Motivation Outreach, Inc. your time, resources, support, encouragement, or trust, thank you.

More than 1,000 bags have already gone into the hands of people who needed them this year.

Now, let’s do another 1,000.

The work continues, and so do we.
